Support foriegn language letters in search term under review
Currently when entering a search term in a foriegn lanuage (I am using Hebrew), the actual search site (google for example) is recieving a messed-up string of garbled characters.
Hi, I am having difficulties to reproduce this. Could you let me know some details of your setup? (LIke Firefox version, add-on-version, operating system, specific search engine that is not working [f.i., the Google web search works fine for me when I enter a string like 'עִבְרִית'] Are you searching from the add-on or from one of the search fields on the web site?)

I am unable to log in to my account using the mozilla addon.
Whenever I attempt to log in to my account on the mozilla add on, it doesnt respond or login. Could this be a bug?
This sounds like you have another Firefox add-on installed that is not compatible with this one. Could you let me know which ones you have installed, then I will check it and if necessary fix it as soon as I can. Also, please let me know the browser version, the browser language and the operating system you are on.

In-page searching started
Find search terms in current page.
Instead of opening the find toolbar (Ctrl-F) and entering the word to search for (which are already in the search bar), just use the search term which is already there.Possible ways to use the serch terms:
1.make the terms clickable (like SearchWP)
2.copy the ... moreI have to admit that SearchWP is nice. It would be hard to make it interact with lookpick though, f.i. because lookpick uses the search box not only for search terms, but also to display search engine names along with search terms. I would probably have to add that functionality myself. What do you think about this instead: Hit something like ctrl+return to search inside the page using the phrase in the search box? (or hand the phrase over to the in-page search at the bottom) I have no idea how hard that would be, it is not top priority but I'll check and if it's not too hard I'll add it. I'll get back on this as soon as I get around to looking at it.

Alright, the newest version of lookpick ( http://lookpicking.com/firefox/lookpick.xpi ) now allows for rudimentary in-page searching. When you hit ctrl-return, the query gets copied from the searchbox to the in-page find bar, bringing it up if necessary. There, you can edit it if you want, and then hit return to search the web page (or you may hit ctrl-return again to highlight all occurences). -

Sync search term with values in current page planned
When the current search term changes in the web
page, change it also in the lookpicks search box.Just like SearchBox Sync add-on.
Ok, this requires more than a quick fix on my part. I will address it with the next release if feasible (from what I have seen so far, I think it is). Until then, I have patched the SearchBoxSync add-on so that it works with the newest version of lookpick (http://lookpicking.com/firefox/lookpick.xpi ). Download the patched SearchboxSync here: http://lookpicking.com/stuff/searchbox_sync-1.3b1_patched_for_lookpicking-fx.xpi (save it to your computer and then drag it onto a Firefox window). It will work with lookpick installed and without lookpick. However, it will not work when lookpick is installed and switched to 'standard search' mode.

no succes adding new search engine mozilla or ie8
can't add new search engine missing from public list such as blogs.com or blogpulse.com. watched video 5 times. tried mozilla 3.08 and ie8. any suggestions?
Are you using the web-based form scraper or the Firefox add-on? Adding blogpulse.com works either way on my side, using Firefox. As for blog.com, I can't find a search field on their page. To be sure, adding search engines works only when you are logged in to an account at lookpicking.com. I am using an English of version Firefox, so I can't say for sure that everything works using other language versions.

Please let me know if this doesn't solve the issue. In the meantime, I have added blogpulse.com and a google-powered search for blog.com to the public list. Once we figure out how it works for you, feel free to create them again, I will merge my search engines to yours, then.

Whoops, you were looking for blogS.com, not blog.com, I mixed that up. Sure they have a search field. Just added it to the list as well. And you are right, the automatically created lookpick doesn't do it there, because they don't use a regular form, but a piece of javascript. Check out the lookpick I have created to find out how it can be made to work anyway. -

Compatibility with fire.fm planned
When the fire.fm add-on is installed, the lookpick add-on does not work due to a javascript error (reported in mozilla's JSON framework for some reason). I will look into it as soon as I can, but it could take one or two weeks as I am way too busy right now. If you want it fixed faster, please vote.
